Dave Myers For US Senate

I want to thank all of you who worked so hard to get the required number of signatures so I could be on the ballot in November.  I know how hard you all worked and I tried through the last day with the same results each of you experienced.

About 60% or so of the people refused to even listen to what we had to say which totally surprised me.  Another 10%-15% of the people said they were good with the way things are and didn't want to stop and listen.

In my home town of Bolivar, and my school district Tuscarawas Valley, the numbers were even worse.   

If I would have had a chance to sell my message and failed, I could have walked away thinking that I am not the candidate that the people wanted.  However, since 60%-70% of the people were not the least bit interested in me or my message, I am left feeling that the majority of the people do not want to be involved at all.

For those of you that have read, or heard what I've had to say and have visited my web site, thanks to you also.

I have to take some time now to consider the future, but for this year, I guess its politics as usual.  "God Help Us"

P.S.  We were able to gather just over 3,000 of the 5,000 signatures needed.  Thanks to all of you!

I've answered your questions, knocked on your doors, set up tables in different places, and walked the streets and parks asking for signatures to give you a real chance to be represented. 

I went to Cleveland and camped in the IX Center parking lot and worked a booth at the inside amusement park while scores of people walked by.  I've had help from friends and family getting the word out and gathering signatures.  

From the beginning of this campaign to gather signatures I’ve said I will travel to your town to talk to you and get signatures and all you needed to do was just invite me.  I've had no invitations. 

We now have only one week to gather about 2,000 valid signatures and we have only one known event to attend that could produce a good many of those needed signatures, (Sunday May 2nd).   

We will have a celebration party either way, after we find out for sure if we made it on the ballot or not.

TOGETHER WE CAN GET AT LEAST ONE SMALL BUSINESS OWNER IN THE UNITED STATES SENATE THIS YEAR! 

SINCE SMALL BUSINESS IS 70% OF THE US ECONOMY, WE SHOULD HAVE A VOICE IN THE SENATE- I'M READY TO DO THIS IN NOVEMBER!
